Minstrel's Daughter

For Raedrianna, a half-human, half-aydevin raised in secret among a band of traveling minstrels, the brightly-painted wagons and raucous vagabonds are the only home and family she’s ever known. Protected by her foster brother, Aldenholt—a druid-born seeking his path in serving The Balance—and their adoptive father, Ralf--a troubadour in hiding from his own haunted past—Raedrianna relies upon her wits and the foreknowledge her dreams reveal to keep out of trouble.

Only lately, her dreams have become nightmares, leaving a restless dread in their wake. And after a blade-handed stranger attempts to kidnap her, killing all who get in the way, she must embrace her destiny or risk becoming a pawn in a centuries-old struggle between the shape-changing dragon imprisoned by her ancestors and the last wizard of a vanquished empire.

Hunted by minions of the dragon and manipulated by the wizard, Raedrianna is both the key and the weapon each needs to end their stalemate. For as the only descendant of two prophetic bloodlines, she alone holds the power to either free the dragon or destroy him.
